Museum Park's business-speed internet

Designing Tomorrow's Building Infrastructure Today
The Enterprise Co. selects onShore hotWire for luxury condos

The Enterprise Companies selected onShore to provide business-quality high-speed internet access to Tower One of Museum Park, 1322 South Prairie, 60605. After Huron Pointe and One River Place, Museum Park is now the third Enterprise Companies’ development to offer onShore hotWire to its condominium owners.

Using a robust, scalable networking technology, onShore wires entire residential and commercial buildings for business-quality, high-speed internet access. For Museum Park, onShore built a Multi-tenant Data Network on switched ethernet, which delivers 100Mb to tenants’ desktops (70 times faster than DSL) and does not require additional expensive equipment for end users.

onShore’s Multi-tenant Data Network allows multiple vendors of internet provider (IP)-based services (streaming media, voice-over-IP and data back-up) to share a high-bandwidth pipeline to a building's tenants.

"No one does what onShore is doing–the design-build and the servicing of a system that enables an entire building to receive reliable high-speed internet access for a reasonable price. onShore really doesn't have any competition.", John Shipka of The Enterprise Companies said.

"onShore is great to work with for design-build. They really know their product. And, the tenants in our buildings who have signed up for onShore’s service have been extremely pleased at how much faster it is than DSL or a cable modem. It's comparable to a business level T-1 line."

In addition to the three Enterprise Companies developments, onShore has hotWired four residential buildings – North Pier Tower, Clark Place, Dearborn Tower, and Wells Street Tower – and one commercial building – The Monadnock Building – for four different developers. (see below)
